Rennan Drobnick Landscape & Snow was founded in 2019 as Rennan Lawn Care by Atle Rennan. At 17 years old, Atle was by all accounts a novice but along with his team including Danny Baltich, was able to land around 30 lawns for that summer. Atle and Danny started out with borrowed equipment and less than $200, but by the end of the summer, they had created a professional business poised to grow. 

Despite COVID-19, the 2020 lawn care season resulted in more growth for Rennan Lawn Care. That fall, Mitch Drobnick joined the company after meeting Atle at the College of St. Scholastica and immediately became a core member of the team. That winter we launched our first snow removal operation. This was mostly successful, despite a lack of snow during the early months of 2021. 

In the spring of 2021, Rennan Lawn Care was poised to grow significantly but instead had a disappointing year. After organizing a schedule of 70 lawns, our trailer, zero turn, and other small pieces of equipment were stolen from our driveway. This was a major setback and resulted in the summer of 2021 transforming overnight from what was poised to be our most profitable season yet to a complete wash financially. 

During the winter of 2022, in the midst of constant snowfalls, Rennan Lawn Care re-branded to Rennan Drobnick Landscaping & Snow reflecting the business's newest managing partner Mitch Drobnick. During that summer, we began testing our robot lawn care service model and launched a landscaping service. We completed many different projects from flower bed maintenance to the construction of a retaining wall. 

In 2023, we are proud to be the first service to bring robot lawn care to everyday people and businesses in Duluth. Through our partners, Automated Outdoor Solutions from Woodstock, Illinois, we are now one of the area's only dealers for the industry-leading Husquvarna Automowers.
