How does it work?
Most robot lawnmowers use a boundary wire (pictured below) to establish the mower's working area. These can be stapled into the lawn with provided stakes (less reliable) or buried an inch below ground (more reliable). Husqvarna robots also require a guide wire which runs through the middle of the lawn to guide the robot efficiently back to its charging station when it gets low on charge.
Robot lawnmowers can be programmed to work at whatever time is most convenient for you. You can have it run 24/7 only taking breaks to charge, or run only at night, or when you're at work. Using Husqvarna's industry-leading software and app, you can make the auto mower workaround your needs.
